While I hated Invisible Man I'm fine w movies existing not made for me. Still I worried its success would lead to future Universal Monster reboots diverting too far from what makes them special. I believe my fears were justified. Brendan Fraser's Mummy nailed the art of rebooting the UM.

This movie isn't on the same level as The Wolf Man, but I like that Columbia Pictures went with the idea of a female werewolf. I wish there were more films from this era with lady monsters.
