Anyone looking for an editor? I’ve been doing a lot of film teases and trailers lately but have experience in pretty much everything: shorts, features, music videos, corporate, promotional/online context, educational, showreels etc.
Any shares greatly appreciated, trying to keep food on the table 🙏
"three Glasgwegian lads clean up their act and take out the trash amid alien invasion": Ben & Nathan McQuaid’s lo-fi sci-fi comedy/city symphony WELCOME TO G-TOWN (2026) re-screens 7.30pm tonight at @glasgowfilmfest.bsky.social projectedfigures.com/2026/02/28/w...
Tomorrow!
a sombre morning for british columnists as they move their "The electorate has spoken, we must listen" articles to the recycling bin and upload their "the greens victory shows just how far the west has fallen" articles instead
Loved this one 🖤

I’ve seen enough. It’s time to arrest Jeffrey Epstein!
If you answer “No” you get an invitation to Mar-a-Lago
they should pass a law that says ICE has to follow the law
listen here you stupid leftoid, if you just voted blue in 2024, ICE would be ruining the lives of immigrant families quietly and efficiently in a way where we wouldn't have to hear about it on the news
Hostile Dimensions film poster. A door in a darkened room with tentacles trying to get through.
Celebrating Burns Night by eating Scottish food and watching a Scottish movie, directed by my friend @factionman.bsky.social and starring my sibling @jomawest.bsky.social.
A super fun, found footage sci fi horror! I have such talented friends. #filmsky
Thank you Bro-in-law 😭
Tweet exchange in which a photo of Anne Hathaway is posted by @TheRoyalSerf, to which user @VvSchweetz24 replies "@grok...do your thing. @Grok replies: Anne Hathaway isn't Jewish; she was raised Catholic but left the church. She married Adam Shulman (who is Jewish) in 2012 and celebrates Jewish holidays with their kids. SHe's played Jewish roles, like in "Armageddon Time."
pretty sure he meant the other thing, grok, but very cool that those are your two things

2025 WEAPONS
All based on UK release/festival dates. Yes I'm a horror hipster.

The older I get, the more my politics mature from childish, naïve beliefs like "the world is complicated and leaders have to make hard decisions" to more serious, adult principles like "hurting people is bad and helping people is good."
Underrated imo but I’ve only seen it once haha.
Tubi is such a crazy streaming service. It’s like if the Criterion Closet was in a gas station
It is essential to remember that Sensible centrists got everything they wanted in the UK.
The left smashed, their Competent Sensible politicians won by a landslide last year and have a huge majority and the policies they dreamed of implemented.
And the result is endless horror.
screenshot of a tumblr post from user “wildmansters” The thing that really boils my potatoes about Al in general is that I have been a creative professional for over a decade now and the devil has ALWAYS been in the details. Big and small, I've had single-person businesses rip me to shreds over how their colors turned out on newsprint, and have worked with huge companies with THICK brand guidelines with every detail of their brand identity laid out and enforced with an iron fist. But I guess all of that stuff doesn't matter anymore? Who gives a fuck if this Al generated baby has six fingers, that mom-and-pop shop is still going to use it. That rug from Temu says Happy Thanksgivirg? Oh well haha it's just a silly funny thing now (nevermind that you never would have given a B-grade item from a craft show the same consideration). I don't actually care that the Al Coca-cola ad has a truck that changes size every scene, but I can't help but think about how, if it had been some poor underpaid artist, they would have been laughed out of the building. I don't really know how to put it in a succint way but it just feels all the more obvious how much more grace and flexibility has always been possible but never offered.
i know WHY this is but that just makes it even more of a kick in the pants lmao
Mmmmm deep cut. Satisfying reference recognising endorphin activated.
