My truck was covered in bird poo 🤮 and pollen after parking on the street in DC for last couple of weeks. Finally cleaned it and L's Subaru today. Now we're both all shiny and it feels like spring 🌼🌱! And her cherry tree is blooming!

One or two were likely for other cars with out of state plates parked for several days in the same spot.

It's strange. All my reports were closed through December. This year they are staying open 🤷‍♂️.

I don't recall anymore (when I click to access the details it says I cannot), but there is one main culprit that has not moved in 3 months and has VA plates that expired on 3/31 (and also owes nearly $2k in parking violations).

Anyone having success getting 311 to ticket? All my requests have been hanging open for the past 2 months...

A fog bow appeared Monday near Ridge, Maryland, in St. Mary's County & CWG reader John Gasper captured this stunning photo.

Fog bows are cousins of rainbows and form when sunlight interacts with the tiny droplets in fog, producing a wide, pale rainbow with little color.

Since January, DOEE has been monitoring E. coli levels in the Potomac River as part of the District’s response to the Potomac Interceptor collapse.

NEW: National Weather Service expands winter storm watch into DC. Its forecast is for 3" in the Beltway area but the watch is for the potential for locally heavier amounts.
