If you're on TG Desktop (and maybe the mobile apps, though I'm not sure) you can turn off that stupid fucking AI prompt they added. It's under Settings > Advanced > Experimental Settings

If anyone can find the same option on mobile, please add it in a comment.

Yeh it’s the crystallisation of old memories which is the weird part. Until this morning this house was a lil bit fuzzy but now it’s all solid again and it reminded me of lil features I’d forgotten

I only lived in one house from birth until I was 18 and it's on sale on RightMove with full 360 virtual tour! Most of the rooms haven't been changed since then. It's weird to see that house decades later barely changed, like stepping back in time. a bizarre sensation

Rocky coastline of Anglesey

Absolutely delightful spring day. Went for a long walk along the coast with @zebra-north.com stopping for a beach-side pasty and sossie roll and ending with some quality ice cream in Moelfre

I dunno if Monster Hunter Freedom Unite counts as a retro game (it's from 2008). I just find if I play a really old game I get a hit of nostalgia for about 10mins then lose interest. I can't imagine I'd be interested in playing the original Elite again even tho it was such a big thing for me

I don't think I play that many games with defined protagonists/antagonists too. They either have none at all or it's someone you make yourself.

hah we got the same protagonist and antagonist. To be honest, I could barely think of any others apart from Cmdr Shepard

This was so hard to think up. There are so many games and I can't remember most of what I've played in the past. I changed overrated cuz everything I thought of was more like "just not for me" (I was gonna put Undertale but it seemed unfair like I'm sure it's good I just don't click with it).

A tree sparrow is speaking: "Artistic creation shouldn't be considered carelessly! Good art is made deliberately! With emotion! Physical exertion! If you aren't crying or bleeding by the end, you'd better look into another lifestyle...". We see a class of birds with piles of sticks and a big banner that reads "Intro to nest building" made out of twigs. The teacher continues: "Ok! Does everyone have their bundle of soft moss?"

What I like best about the Artemis II photos is that it was taken by actual humans. An actual person had to frame it and manually adjust settings. It's their own artistic rendition of what they thought looked best at the time, something no probe, rover or unmanned spacecraft can take. it's art

I remembered I have Space Engine the other day. I would love to play with this in VR but zooming in on planets & stars fucking terrifies me in VR. I had the same with Google Earth VR. I can't use it, when you search it zooms you face down to the planet and it really scares me. Maybe megalophobia?

I think language changes much faster now. Before 2020 I'd never heard the word "addicting" until I saw a VR game reviewer using it. Now I can't remember the last time I heard someone say "addictive". It's like addicting has replaced addictive in just 5 years. It sounds really wrong
