And ‪@waggingtale.bsky.social‬ says she loves a Maxfield Parrish twilight. Maybe we will see one this evening?

Good Day!
This artist has been brought to my attention as an example of the recent weather in London. Yes indeed it has been very Verpilleux!

Thank you, Sue. Much appreciated. Art is our window into worlds and imaginations

Thank you.

I agree. I sometimes see the white horses Ravillious depicted and feel reassured that the man was looking at the same view. I've also watched the sees from Margate with the window open as the clouds and sun chase across the Turneresque sea.

Indeed. These works change our minds to their visual interpretation. I love that.

That's a new artist for me so thank you for the education.

Do you see these views in real life. Do you think Ooo, that's Turner.

As your visual vocabulary grows you will start looking at things with an artist's style in mind. Grimshaw does moonlight brilliantly and I often see a view, or even get to photograph something that looks very JAG.

It enhances our experience of being human and definitely helps with our mental wellbeing.

Yes, I have seen a few real vistas like Clausen.

Question: Do you think viewing art helps you see the world better?
I often view something and think to myself (for example) 'Oo that's very Grimshaw' and enjoy the sight all the more.

It's always been a very popular image when I've posted before. I think the coldness of it is key to that.

It’s a beauty.

Thank you, Bonnie. Yes, it was always hard to figure and time and give it my full attention. I need to post on my terms and enjoy it fully rather than feeling like it’s a task.
