Rémy, a young blond man with bandages around his abdomen and Kuro, a black haired dragon disguised as a human are walking along the shore. The beach is covered in various objects taken by the sea during the tsunami. By the look on their faces it is implied they have spotted a dead body that's out of the frame.

Two weeks had passed since the tsunami and yet what the sea was spitting on the beach still had the distinct, lingering stench of death and decay.

Shinko of the Almarian system, a male Delcari (= a Delcarion), is half-sat half-slumped on a dark blue velvet arm-chair, brooding in a figuratively dark and empty room. He is wearing dark grey, burgundy and white formal clothes with golden jewelry. Shinko is one of Grand Admiral Gojo's subordinates, not exactly her right hand but still a close colleague. In the aftermath of the events which costed Gojo half of her face, Shinko unfairly lost someone close to his heart and has a hard time processing everything that happened. The Delcari language has three genders, a neutral (ends in -i), a masculine (ends in -ion) and a feminine (ends in -ian). Due to the matriarchal roots of their society, the feminine form has historically been used as a neutral and as the base for the plural (ends in -ians). While both uses are still considered grammatically correct, the former has dramatically decreased in favour of the true neutral form.

Sinead is a deep dark pink color with lighter pink and golden accents. Sinead has been Kuro's best friend since they were kids. They both went to the same schools and graduated together. Sinead is a rather calm and collected individual, who favors thinking over acting and knowledge over power. She is smart and displays high levels of emotional intelligence. She works in the administration, trying to climb up the stairs.

Olm dragons are based on the real olms, amphibians living in caves which have elongated bodies. They could get washed away after big storms when the cave river flooded and people used to believe they were the larvaes of dragons.

Days 3 to 8 of OCtober, with a new, still WIP Olm dragon named Valika. I had and will have very little time for drawing unfortunately so I figured I'd do something out of my comfort zone instead : lineless.

"The Rabatteur Provençal is the second most common breed of dragons enrolling in mountain rescue teams. Bigger and more powerful flyers than the Clocktower Gargoyles, they often take the lead in formations in bad weather to ease the flight for the latter breed. They are very common in France and Italy but less so in Switzerland. The Rabatteur Provençal is an old and rustic breed originating from the Mediterranean Alps, particularly the French region of Provence. Since this breed is present in different countries with minimal phenotypical and genotypical variations, it historically had several names but the hegemony of french as the nobility's international language during the XVIIth century cemented the french version as the "official" one. Well adapted to their environment, the Rabatteurs are able to withstand the hot summers and low temperatures through seasonal fur loss or production. As most temperate breeds, they cannot stand extreme cold for an extended period of time, and they will move to the valleys in the worst of winter. Their blue to green coat blends them well with the vegetation and helps with hunting. Historically, Rabatteurs Provençaux were rather popular in the army thanks to their versatility and sturdiness. It is believed their cross-breeding with other breeds popular in the army led to the rise of the famous Légion d'Honneur breed."

"The Clocktower Gargoyles, descendants of the Alpine Gargoyles, are very sturdy dragons well adapted for small and medium mountain environments. They can withstand high mountain during the warm season but not for extended periods of time during winter. In modern days, their unique set of skills and adaptations naturally attracted a portion of them to take on mountain rescue jobs. They may be slower than a helicopter but they can fly much higher and in dire weather, allowing greater opportunities to rescue endangered humans and dragons alike. Usually operating in a team of four or five dragons, they bring with them only two human rescuers, sometimes a dog, but dogs are most often superfluous as Gargoyles have a good enough sense of smell in most cases and much bigger paws with which they can dig at a much quicker pace. Loved by the general population for a very long time as village and livestock guardians, the Clocktower Gargoyles haven't lost their position as one of the top dragon breeds in last year's poll."
