Let's hope from now on it is, otherwise we risk 'never again' happening not never, but again & again & again to anyone & everyone.
8/9 "Never again..." for others to turn their backs, hiding behind their definitions, their codes of conduct, their so-called morality, in the defense of evil they are too scared, or too naive, to recognise & name.
7/9 "Never again..." to see the voice of truth, through lived experience journalism, slaughtered day after day, to stop the truth from being heard & seen.
6/9 "Never again..." to see healthcare workers & facilities, care agencies, universities & schools targeted to wipe out human rights from fellow humans.
5/9 "Never again..." to see soldiers desecrate civilian lives, & deaths, a nation's indigenous land, just for amusement.
4/9 "Never again..." to seeing only blood, where bloodlines have been erased, heads gone, bodies halved & souls irreversibly scarred, all under the guise of precision.
3/9 "Never again..." to hear the screams of people buried in rubble or burning in flame, then hearing them fade & finally stop because they lived in the wrong place, in the eyes of another people, professing, 'defence & security".

Always worth remembering how much harder it is to attain #WeirdPride and acceptance if you come from a position of less privilege.
Partly, any deviation from the 'default human' (male, white, straight, abled, etc etc) is automatically seen as weird, among the groups with the most cultural power.
