Tonight, the @traviscountydems.bsky.social held their ballot drawing for the Democratic Primary. In HD49’s race, I drew the 7th spot on the ballot. We’re less than 76 days until Election Day, and I couldn’t be more excited.

Yesterday morning began with a block walk at Ramsey Park, fueled by breakfast tacos and coffee.

Today, I filed to run for Texas State House District 49 at the @traviscountydems.bsky.social hq. I feel grateful to our campaign supporters and look forward to meeting more voters on the campaign trail.

Stopped by IBEW Local 520 last night, and it reminded me why I'm running - a strong Texas economy starts with strong Texas workers. I'll always fight for fair pay, safe working conditions, and the right to join a union.

Our veterans risked their lives overseas to protect liberty and justice for all. We owe more than words. We owe it to veterans like Mr. Lynch to fight for them and deliver on an agenda that addresses the affordability crisis.

While I studied at Harvard Law School, I had the honor of working at the WilmerHale Legal Services Center, where I helped Mr. Lynch and other veterans fight for their VA benefits.
Today, Mr. Lynch has full access to VA healthcare and benefits.

This Veterans Day, I'm thinking of Mr. Paul Lynch, a Vietnam War veteran exposed to Agent Orange. For over 50 years, the VA denied him benefits because of his PTSD symptoms.
