Elegant is one way to think of it :) :) Mostly it's that the ground here is very agreeable, and trees we can plant and forget!

We have an amazing local CSA that we rely on for veggies, and we planted cherry, quince, lilac, raspberry and sumac, to go with the apple and pear, daffodil and peony and iris.

Garden. So many pollinator plants, so many bird feeding stations, so much edible landscaping, so much permaculture, so many places to sit and walk and play and relax. Also improved drainage for the house.
