THIS ISN'T #MOSS! 💚

This is a #liverwort, which is related to moss as they are both #bryophytes.
Liverworts appear more flat compared to moss as their 'leaves' grow in rows, while moss' grow spirally around the stem. They also lack a midrib (the line down the middle of moss' leaves) #nature

I absolutely love finding these jelly fungi! This is cat’s tongue fungus, named after its fruiting body’s underside which is covered in jelly teeth that resemble a cat’s tongue!! 🐱👅
