There should be a law passed, and enforced, that we will no longer have for profit prisons of any kind! Ever again! Incentivized incarceration should be a crime against humanity and should be retroactively enforced! They know what they are doing is wrong!

I inherited a couple thousand dollars from mom and I still enjoy thinking of her every year when I withdraw the RMD.

No, but one time I took a sip of Coke with a bee swimming in it. A friend pulled her stinger out of the roof of my mouth!

Rehabilitation of the Dandelion!
No other plant in the Netherlands attracts as many bee species: 107. In early spring, when nothing else is blooming, it is simply there. Meadow bird chicks that have just hatched depend on the insects that are drawn to dandelions. No dandelion, no insect, no chick.
I think this is the most likely explanation for what unfolded after the fact. #DonaldJChrist

Glad to see the Australian government on board. Massive milestone today with Bowen acknowledging EV growth is already offsetting the oil crisis. Increasing reserves while demand falls makes no sense.
Now for a solar carport mandate!

In Seattle:
- People bike all the time.
- We have a temperate climate.
- Half the hills are downhill.
I had a fantastic time attending the Neath Model Railway Exhibition this weekend! It was one of two brilliant Welsh shows I managed to get to this week, and it was great to see such a high standard of modelling on display at St David's Church 🚂🏴 #ModelRailways #CymruRails

A dramatic aurora borealis display over the Chena Hills near Fairbanks, Alaska, photographed from the Granite Tors Trail. The aurora forms an unusual folded wave structure across the center of the frame, with bright green curtains curling and swirling in a pattern resembling ocean waves. Stars are visible throughout the dark sky above. Bare shrubs and silhouetted black spruce trees line the snow-covered foreground. A warm orange glow from Fairbanks and North Pole light pollution is visible low on the right horizon, approximately 40 miles away.

After our “community standards violation” for asking people to message brands to speak out against the dismantling of the Forest Service, we had a team work all weekend knocking out a website for the same purpose. It’ll be live in a few hours.

A win! The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously blocked Arizona Republicans’ attempt to dismantle the Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni (Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon National Monument), protecting nearly one million acres of sacred Indigenous land from new uranium mining.
I had to have a breast biopsy today and my nurse kept calling me, "my love" when she explained things, like, "alright my love, now we're going to..." Why do these simple moments of humanity make me cry? Why have they become so rare? My loves, I just don't know. But we can always do better.
