Red often equals violence or dramatic scenes, sometimes late night interiors. Though the red I’ve seen is much more ruby red than the dark red you’ve provided. It often photographs orange with digital cameras. Below an example with stenciled color I photographed on a light box.

Here in Europe, I see Red and Green more often. German nitrates especially seemed to use Green for outdoor sequences. Yellow for mountainous or warm scenes. You also get tints with tones (Pink tint with purple tone=sunset).

The latest tinted film I know of is THE LUCK OF THE IRISH (1948) which apparently tinted the scenes in Ireland an Emerald green.

(However I’m unaware of any rights issues with MGM or Turner owned WB titles—-whether they get an iTunes release seems to be random).

That might be true with the RKO catalogue, I know some titles carry a BBC logo on the Key art though Apple states they are WB releases.

I wish these were available to Ireland—-even when WB offers a title digitally here, it’s often an old SD or HD transfer!

I’ll keep that in mind, I just have LIZZIE MCGUIRE levels of clumsy. It can never be a little spill. 😅

Lovely stuff! Love using a fountain pen myself, haven’t used a dip pen (I think I’d make such a mess!)

They’re definitely in the glass slides. I’ve seen several for fictional narratives.

Understood. You’ll have to understand your previous post resembled “sea-lioning” so hence why you’re getting such a response.

German film poster for Le Joueur d'échecs (English title: THE CHESS PLAYER; 1927, France). This film survives! Of interest as it centers on “the mechanical Turk” an automaton fraud that faked artificial intelligence. All that is old is new again. #film #art #history #filmsky #cinema #frenchcinema

@foxxnolte.bsky.social Just FYI I took a swing and found GAY NINETIES WALTZES on Apple Music here in Europe and the meta data assigns a 1958 release date.

Have you tried pink paste? It might take some patience. I’d boil hot water and let the beans sit and after 30 mins drain and see if they loosen. Then add pink paste and wait 15 minutes. Dedicate a scrub daddy to it, repeat. This got old rice out of a pot for me!

"Is the Nude Rude?" was the tagline for BACK TO GOD'S COUNTRY.

"See the naked lady and judge for yourself!" created a box office bonanza as moviegoers clamored to weigh in on this very serious question. (Even the forest creatures seemed interested.)
