Have a two hour Menopause session at my GP’s today, then managed to schedule us for both lunch and dinner at friend’s places today in a genius bit of diary management.

Have a lovely Saturday, and perhaps enjoy this photo of M just about coping with meeting one of his kind yesterday. Just about.

We went to see Thunderbolts yesterday and we really enjoyed it. Quite adult and should be subtitled as ‘Thunderbolts: a Meditation on Depression’. We were so glad we went. There’s a mid credit and end credit scene.

Also: good morning x

I’ve been very offline due to not being at my best and some rl things but this weekend is mine and sibling’s Easter weekend and we’ve had a lovely time at the dog field yesterday and at the beach today. We even ate chips on the sea front. I hope you’re all doing well as a minimum.

It’s pure misogyny. Tale as old as time. It hates people assigned female at birth living as their true male selves. It obviously hates trans women. And it hates all c1s women as it insist womanhood is one definable concept. It’s limiting and hateful and wicked.

I cannot comprehend it for half a second. It’s so pointless.

Essentially: 🇺🇸 is just a few steps further along from where we are now. We cannot be complacent.

1) trans sibling and I long hoped to revisit 🇺🇸 together. We decided after 🍊, that this wld be unsafe.
2) in London w friend, friend subjected to anti trans hate crime.
3) the 1GB A11iance is actively shutting down 🏳️‍🌈QT+ committees etc by utilising bad faith freedom of speech.

Pls be active allies 🙏

Why do they do this?
Relaxing breakfast!
Sweet dreams!
Nap time!
Let’s sleep in!
Why oh why?

That’s the thing! So much fun running and jumping and stalking. But the fizzy flies bite back. Fortunately he’s responding to ‘leave’ which is amazing in itself because I don’t use leave with him much at all.

And the absolute worst of all the unnecessary accents: the cold shoulder.

M has a new hobby. Hunting bees. Yep. That is in no way a problem.

Possibly the happiest man in the country at that moment.

Actually that’s funny, here’s today’s top.

So anyway I went yellow sticker hunting at M&S food, got a new Lakeland mixing bowl set (with lids!) as my 1970s set has started to splinter, and bought a mini waffle maker from the Isle of Aldi. And Vinted it is for clothes. As before.

I used to do the skulls a lot but not so much now. But everything else you said? Yes. Missoni style patterns? Great.

Only if a person is super duper lucky!

The world is on fire. I will now proceed to rant about something so petty and small it is insignificant. Yet here I go….

Why, WHY???? Are there flowers on 90% of plus size clothing and skulls on the remaining 10%?? Not forgetting the crossover of skulls AND flowers.

Thank you. Go about your day.

Did exactly that in an episode of Greys Anatomy I watched recently. Her surgery really did affect her recognisability, but it’s still her. Odd one.

Sending Monday happiness to anyone who needs it.

This boy took fright at Guinea fowl and wouldn’t move. So, I carried him to safety and then by turns we walked and sat in the sun and sat in the shade and hydrated and relaxed and carried on. Even smol beans can be brave after a fright.

I hasn’t cleared two years worth of growth and I was overwhelmed by it. It would have taken me a couple of weeks doing an hour in section a day I think. Jack hit it in 8 hours and took all the waste away. I mean. Now I can be a lady and trim things. Pluck a tulip from time to time.

It was adorable. Twice he even backed up to sit at Jack’s feet and have a couple of pets. Only twice but I was thrilled.

M and Jack went through the whole ‘friends’ process I have to do for new people to come in safely. Jack was so good about it, even going for a walk with us! Here they are doing their jobs together.

Well I had a gardener over this week, did I say that here? Not sure. He has actually cut the big holly tree and cotoneaster back/down so there is a little more, but it gets good sun from about 10-4. I’m so pleased to have it sorted out a bit. It was sliding to wilderness!

Same here. April cools easily swing right back around here as well. It’s a warm week. Flowers are bursting but could easily hit a frost still. But I’ll happily enjoy the sun for now!
