They didn't do any Gene test on me til I went to my second neurologist. The first one did all the normal tests and was like, well maybe you're faking it :). The second asked about celiac and I have 0 of the normal symptoms so the suggestion was such a surprise lol

Maybe if you're deficient in other vitamins they can assume you're deficient in the others too or something

There is a generic test they can do to test for gluten sensitivity, worth a shot to see if that's what's tearing up your tummy. Mine is positive for one gene and seems to cause my neuropathy
