@bsky.app I presented HB 14 in the Senate EEE Committee today. HB 14 would amend existing law to ensure hate-bias incident data reported by K-12 public school systems is broken down by targeted victim groups and posted on the school systems' websites. Thank you to all the advocates for joining us.

Alisa Weiner testified in favor of HB1221 today in a very powerful hearing. She is holding a photo of her two daughters who perished in a fire at a short-term rental. HB 1221, sponsored by Del. Hutchinson and I, will improve fire safety laws for short-term rental properties in Maryland.
