A reminder of what can happen if wheel/curb stops are missing from a parking space. As a result, half of the sidewalk is blocked by the overhanging vehicle bumper.

A right turn slip lane that used to exist at the intersection of Caledonia Avenue and Quadra Street in Victoria, BC.
The upgraded intersection (Caledonia Avenue and Quadra Street) after the slip lane was removed. This upgrade improved walk & roll safety and added seating, bike racks, a bus shelter, plants and a couple of new trees. The Caledonia Ave protected bike lane is seen on the left.
