'Control' is one of the biggest keywords about Mydei. Imo if he has any fears then it is to ascend to Demigodhood and inherit the Strife and its power while he is an immortal—if he gets corrupted then he could be the biggest threat Amphoreus has ever faced.

One last thing on this matter is the acceptance of the Coreflame. Mydei has been explaining everything to us up until things came up that involved his feelings. We only saw a little 'slip', an emotional reaction when the Leo (his reacher died) and here in 3.0:
