Personally, I'm a fan of yerba mate, which added to my excitement about this new stdy that mapped the yerba mate genome.
This research, which involved my colleagues at EMBL Hamburg, could enable creating new yerba mate varieties in the future. I'd definitely love to see a decaf version one day 🧉🌿🤞
