I just saw a comment on FB commenting on a completely ridiculous post. Commenter called the OP a soup fork. As in "dumb and useless as a ..." Nothing quite as satisfying as a good insult.

Traffic is one of those bands that doesn't get much mention when early 70s music is talked about and played. That's a shame. They were good and a bit less predictable, whichisalwayssomething that I like. RIP Dave Mason. #DailyBudTunes
Well, they didn’t have the guts to ask the #1 reason for empty seats.
I put my winter coat in the closet and unplugged the upstairs space heater. You can't take all the credit.
Watching a bit of these games over dinner last night and lunch today, I'm struck how we'll be likely to have a playin team next year, only to be creamed by a top seed in round one. You just have to have seasoned pros with playoff experience to win plyoff type games.
I suppose I should be grateful to have gotten next day delivery on my new sprinkler. But. It's cold and wet, so I don't need it today. Besides, I could get two decent restaurant meals for what it cost, or most of a tank of gas. A lawn sprinkler. That's effing stupid.
Don't tell me inflation is 4% a year. Today, I paid $3 for two pears at Kroger, as well as 1.29 for one cucumber. $54 for a 128GB microSD card, the only one I could find in stock except for junk Chinese (thanks, AI!) and $45 for a lawn sprinkler. A effing lawn sprinkler. And tomorrow, I buy gas.
Hope this pans out like the DM story says. They all say good things when a business is sold. Time will tell. And yes, I'm a big Muddy's fan.
It's been fun watching Des put in one of his determined bulldog games, but 76ers still came out ahead.
I've been telling myself that it's a relief not a feel compelled to watch any playoff games. After reading this, I'm wobbling. Oh my...
Gambling of any sort is a hard no for me. Those companies can afford big TV ad expenses and casinos or web/banking infrastructure and still reap big profits. Who do you think the profits come from, anyway. There's NO WAY you can win more than you lose. None.
If today was April Fools Day, the headline in the Flyer would make sense. It seems yet another "no local control" R in TNLeg has filed a bill to prohibit towns and counties from enacting laws fining businesses for abandoned shopping carts. Yeah, I know Kroger didn't steal the cart. But seriously.
One can fondly hope. But with last night leaving us still a bit uncertain, I'd imagine we'll get more of the same on Sunday.
Not really. It just caught me unprepared. And speaking of Mashack, guy must be tired. Rotation was only 6 and he got stuck with the full 48.
Sure would be nice to see just one game before the season ends where the majority of the starters are regular roster players, or at least two way.
Uh, seriously?
So far, tonight's game is following the recent template. Competitive first half, not so second. It has to be hard to get a useful scouting report on Grizz fluid lineups of unknowns. But halftime adjustments fix that and Grizz go downhill in the 3rd quarter
That and his reliably mediocre choices of when to challenge. It all adds up. I'm not a hater, just struggling to find him an improvement.
I could do with dumping TI. Haven't seen any way that he's better than TJ was. Yeah, I know, much of he's inherited is injuries, trades, and rebuilding. Still...
But now, it's back.
Tell me if I'm wrong. Grizz games are a summer league bunch of two way and 10 day guys playing their asses off against real teams that have gelled over a full season. They hold their own for the first half, because the oppo can't have solid scouting. Then get clobbered after halftime adjustments
I could really use the 2 hours of joy that came with watching the Grizz, win or lose. I know all the rebuild and lottery stuff. But last night, seeing a lineup worse than summer league get clobbered, was dismal. I miss Ja, Des, JJJ, and Jenkins. Not just because they were familiar. They were fun.
Detroit. Always enjoy going there.
Geez. Grizzlies starters this afternoon straight out of summer league. 11 on injury list.
For the record, I think the appropriate number of Grizzlies games to play in Nashville is zero. That city and the state government based their clearly don't have Memphis' best interests at heart. If that were changed, then maybe...
If there really is such a thing as karma, it was pretty effing quick in dealing with him.
So Bron doesn't like Memphis. Well, I'd rather be enjoying a plate of ribs than sitting in a traffic jam on the 405. As for him, he's suffering for AJ Foyt disease, main symptom of which is that your ego makes you keep at a young man's game beyond your sell by date.
Raise your hand if you think people who get "inadvertantly deleted" from the new list will learn that too late to fix it. And will be predominately from one side. If it's allowed to go forward. One hopes not.
Yeah, I didn't look at the calendar. Forgot about 31 in March.
April Fools pranks.
Not for me today.
Neither as giver or receiver.
