Built this wheelchair ramp for @gelegenheiten , a leftist space for concerts, exhibitions, workshops & other events 😌 Their old ramp left a lot to be desired so I’m glad I could give them an upgrade! PART 1

Built a pickup winder so now l'll be able to make custom guitar & bass pickups from scratch 😌 My first trial run will be a Telecaster set, RWRP, mayb one overwound one underwound. Doing these from a kit to keep things simple, for future pickups I'll make my own flatwork to make them plastic free!

A photo of two planed halves of a bog oak slab that‘s 150cm long. The live edges are visible and facing inwards. The wood is mostly dark black, with lighter brown to grey stripes and visible, tight modulary rays. There are some visible cracks and the live edges are unfinished. They are leaning against a workbench.

Biggest bog oak piece I‘ve ever worked with. Got it for cheap bc of defects, it got advertised for epoxy use so I had to - after being in a bog for 5000 years, it deserves better than to be bonded to a plastic 😭 This‘ll be a table - most likely a coffee table that transforms into a dining table.

the back wall and middle beam are also not in place yet.
It's solid larch for the sides & douglas fir boards for the middle so it can withstand the elements, the boards are textured for grip & they are set in a tight fitting groove. Accessibility is not something I take lightly, so no compromises!

l've been quiet lately - not due to inaction, quite the opposite actually! I'm currently building a wheelchair ramp for a leftist bar here in Berlin.
This is just a test assembly - hence uneven gaps!

Got this gorgeous pull out mitre saw from market money recently! It was about time, I love the communal workshop but it was highly impractical to have to go there every time I needed to cut a reliable angle :p I picked this model because its guide rails do not stick out the back, so it‘s compact!

Fair honestly! Facebook has been terrible for me as a business for a while now, stuff that does really well elsewhere gets seen by noone there 😅

Are you also starting to post here because you‘re leaving facebook bc of the current developments or did this just line up coincidentally? 😁

I know right! The plans Brent sells are also super easy to follow & comprehensive. I loved getting to add my own spin to it ☺️
