Year 12 all pure. Complete everything except book 2 differentiation, parametric, integration and numerical methods.
Year 13 a mix of all 3.
Main reason for this is there are topics early in applied that don’t come up again so recall issue. Secondly better for staffing.

In #mathstoday had great fun with year 7s adding fractions with the same denominator. Mixed attainment class so lower attainers were focused on number bonds and higher attainers were working with negative numbers, decimals and algebra.

If you have any capacity for an intervention class once a week then highly recommend. Has made a huge impact to our lower prior attainers at A level and have rejigged the class after major assessment on first terms work.
