`eric/release-prep-as400` - note this is a huge refactor of the build system to a much simpler cmake/picosdk which is open in PR #350 Please let me know if you have any issues in setting up the env.

To everyone who ordered a PicoMicroMac, CatMac case or parts, the new BlueSCSI Ultra, or anything else, I thank you! A great end to #MARCHintosh

Since you seem serious give me a day to re-base his commits as that will be a lot of uninteresting work for you and something i can get done quickly. I'll ping you with a branch updated once done.

Yes but as with everyone time is a precious resource and I know kevin is heads down with his PCMCIA project right now - any help would be appreciated! Sometimes it just takes some renewed interest and another party to get the ball rolling again.

I 3D printed a vintage Mac that NEVER EXISTED YouTube video by This Does Not Compute

Decades ago, it was possible to build your own Mac using spare parts and generic PC components. Given the tools and options available to vintage computing enthusiasts today, let’s see what happens when old meets new!

There's no RS-232 serial on the BlueSCSI - the DB25 is for SCSI (even though lots of other things used DB25 connectors) - make sure you have a SCSI card/port to use this.

The rear of the machine now visible - lots of ports like SCSI, serial, HP-IB, and BNC connectors for RGB video out. It’s booted to a CDE login screen

Stumbled through installing HP-UX on a BlueSCSI on this HP 68040 UNIX workstation. I was pretty frustrated it’d only use the serial console but replacing the NVRAM coin cell battery made itremember it had a graphics card installed

The old SCSI Quantum needed a little physical help to get spinning. But even after spinning up the drive is not detected. So I guess this SE/30 is getting a BlueSCSI going forward.

To my amazement, the original SCSI HDD was still operational on this computer! Thanks to BlueSCSI's Initiator mode, I was able to make a perfect image of it. An external BlueSCSI from @museumjoe.bsky.social now uses this image along with many others. Always great to see another Mac restored! 3/

FWIW BlueSCSI can act as a USB->SCSI bridge and it can also image the drive directly (Both features are only on the 50pin desktop models so you'd need to get a Powerbook to 50pin adapter) - Also powerbooks many times have SCSI Target disk mode to mount them as a drive on another device.

A sad Mac icon with error code 01001C overlayed on an image of a Macintosh Plus setup with keyboard, mouse, external hard drive and FloppyEmu. The Mac has a smiley face. Off to the sides you see soldering gear and an EPROM programmer.

Reviving a sad Macintosh Plus for #MARCHintosh and its 40th. Playing games, exploring drives, letting it moonlight as a big Maclock, and hopping online with a BlueSCSI.

And with those repairs done, another big one is off the queue! I guess this is my #MARCHintosh, doing recaps and stuff for other people. Not that I mind.

This job was three analog boards, two Sony caddy drives, and a Mac TV logic board.

Figured it was time to solder up this external @bluescsi.com from @museumjoe.bsky.social to try out on the lciii for #marchintosh. Now let's see if I can get on #globaltalk. 😆

Please send a debug log on a github discussion on our repo or can also jump on discord too - start initiator and enable debug - lets see what it's doing.
