B&W image of an older man sitting on a bench in a park surrounded by flowers looking pensive. There is a sign to the front right of him resting against a wooden planter filled with plants that reads: ‘Save the earth - it is the only one’

We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children.”

The Fall — ‘Are You Are Missing Winner’
Another #rsd purchase. I have the original picture disc but got this because I wanted to hear how my sixth least favourite Fall album sounded properly mastered. Not bad, so far. ‘Crop Dust’ is a banger.

Cool, next on my list then! :)

They’re very disconcerting - it really tastes like fried egg one minute, potato the next…! Are the truffle ones good?

A high-contrast, black and white street photography self-portrait captured with a Lumix GX9 and Leica 25mm lens at f/4.0 and 1/6 sec. The image utilizes a reflective effect, showing me standing centrally in Buchanan Street, Glasgow, layered over architectural details of tall buildings and shopfronts. To the right, a ghostly, translucent silhouette of a person wearing a beanie is visible. The composition is moody and textured, featuring heavy grain, light leaks, and a dreamlike quality that blends the human figures into the urban environment. Light reflects off wet pavement and glass surfaces, creating a complex, layered scene of urban life.

Good Morning From The Drummer, My Friends.
A high-contrast, vertical black and white photograph of a historic stone building facade. Centered in the frame is a steep outdoor stone staircase, the building features Gothic-style architectural details, including pointed arches over the windows and a gabled roofline with a circular window at the peak. An ornate, old-fashioned street lamp is mounted to the wall on the right. To the left, a small figure of a person carrying a bag walks along the sidewalk at the base of the stairs. The lighting is harsh and directional, casting deep, dark shadows across the stairs and the building’s stone textures, creating a moody and dramatic atmosphere.
