Yes, I think you’re correct. I like whimsy of the light purple speckled one, the majesty of the deep purple one, the crispness of the white one, and the contrasting beauty of the bicolor one.

Came across this stunning female Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Black form) enjoying wild Honeysuckle on the edge of our northern woods. #ButterflyWeek

My different take on Chicken Saltimbocca. I used red wine with onions as a base for the seared Chicken wrapped in Prosciutto with a large Basil leave in the middle.

Side of baby sweet broccoli with shaved Asiago and a sprinkle of olive oil.

Our first English roses are blooming for #FlowersOnFriday 🌱🩷

English rose ‘Desdemona’ is delicate shell pink (2nd photo).

For the other, a deep freeze killed the root graft down to the parent root which is a red rose. Left it.

Every year it pops up in the same place and expands a little. This year, the patch really expanded to about 8’ of solid plants.
