We’re all storytellers. When you think about your brand, ask yourself, “What’s my story?” Trust me, it can’t be as challenging as crafting a compelling narrative for semiconductor chips…something I had to do early in my career and as you can imagine it wasn’t all that fun. 🫠

See ya later, TikTok! 👋

Honestly, as a PR & marketing professional, I never thought this day would come.

If you are:

• Craving words that make you feel deeply (and maybe a little nostalgic)
• Fatigued by the current political climate & needing some encouragement
• An introspective soul who dreams in prose
• Or someone who needs a little more magic in their inbox…

Last week, I stepped into a class where we explored Audre Lorde’s powerful words on anger as a force for change, not destruction. This journey into the uses of anger challenged me to see it as a tool for transformation rather than something to fear.

I graduated with my master’s degree yesterday! 🎓 Two years and a novel completed. This program gave me the tools, the confidence, and the encouragement to dream bigger, write boldly, and believe in my voice. I can’t wait for the next chapter! ✍🏻 #mfacreativewriting #writersofbluesky

Back when Twilight was the best thing ever (and it still is) I was a teenager living in Washington but originally from Arizona—basically Bella Swan minus the sparkly vampires and angsty werewolves and all I got was a lot of rain and a vitamin d deficiency.

I remember when I first started my MFA in Creative Writing, I was convinced I’d never write poetry—I was strictly a fiction writer! Two years later, poetry has become one of my favorite forms of writing ✍🏻

❄️ December holds a subtle undertone of melancholy, a taste that lingers in the air like a drop of winter frost. The quiet ache grows louder with each passing month, reaching its fullest form by December.

I gave ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to “Democracy in Retrograde”.

A positive and engaging book. It encourages connection, to use empathy and find common ground to bridge divides and combat the shared sense of hopelessness, ultimately inspiring action to improve our communities together.
