I finally finished the #wildswanshawl for my future DIL. I used KnitPicks Gloss fingering in natural and also beaded it.

I definitely printed this pattern out and I am using highlighter tape to track my rows. I am also using a lifeline after each chart change and every 5-10 rows and I put a stitch marker indicating each repeat. All of those things together help me to keep track of where I am.

October. So I have time. I just know that life happens and also every row gets bigger and bigger. I will be beading it as well. So I am giving myself plenty of leeway.

I love that I can start something and if I decide it is not going to work I can frog it and reuse the yarn.

My husband is often aghast that I will knit 3/4 of a sweater and then take it apart if it doesn’t bring me joy. 🤣

What is the pattern? I am an experienced knitter, but I have not done an all over cable sweater. Any recommendations?

I do combination knitting when knitting flat. I learned that combo knitting messes me up in lace because of stitch orientation so that is an exception

I am 20 rows from finishing my #skykal #knitting. It is the Emma A from cocoknits. I don’t love the sleeve attachment so I am hoping I can do a bit of surgery to fix that. #knitsky
