I have a few WIPs that I’ve been anxious to get back to, but big shifts in my routine (/pos) in the last few months have made it harder to work on art. I’m not beating myself up about it, but I wish I was more settled so I could do more. Soon 🌱

+ the only reason i even have this experience is bc covid made my previous employer go remote, which is an accommodation i needed that had nothing to do with the pandemic. otherwise, there’s no way they would have let me work from home. of course, “”COVID is over”” so we were back at square 1.

in all seriousness, it took a long time to find an architecture job that was accessible and accommodating. most of the jobs I applied to were not in arch., despite having a 7-year degree and 6+ years of professional experience, because this is a huge issue. disability stats in arch. are abysmal.

i’d like to think that openly admitting i got to the point of missing FILES and FOLDERS was part of manifesting the job i have now. reunited with my beloved .3dm and my behated .rvt ❤️💔

The fluffy seed of a floss silk tree (Ceiba speciosa). So many scattered everywhere! This tree is native to subtropical South America, and the cotton-like fibers around the seed help it move through the air and have often been used for stuffing.
