She is a florist and was in the industry for many many years making beautiful arrangements before accepting a much higher paying job. Each species more grotesquely beautiful than the last... totally forgot about the parasitic nature of the male anglerfishes too. Obsessed. Anyways this is a picture of my drawing on my desk with a dark green HB fabercastel graphite pencil resting near my drawing plus my hand just slightly in frame resting near the fish. My hand is pale and I have a manicure with black tips and a cure gold moon charm on my middle finger nail. The drawing is a botanical scientific illustration style. I would love to tattoo this design! Or any deep sea creatures. I'd love to do a large sprawling squid piece on a leg too in this style :)
