A 3 tiered compost bin made of cedar. Each tier is stacked on the one below it. The top one is crooked because it doesn't fit nicely with the other 2. Each side has 14 holes drilled into it to help with aeration. I was worried about it getting too wet here in MN.
A picture of a yard. On the right is the 3 tier compost bin in the other picture. There is a large stick in the yard and several green patches. On the left is what looks to be a soccer goal. It is used for laundry lines. There are a considerable number of small leaves on the ground. Many have been raked into piles and loaded along the fence line. I had originally raked that area out and we have been using the leaves as additional composting browns. I have since put down cardboard along the fence line and covered it with those leaves. Hopefully this will kill weeds and help to make a great soil for berry bushes this summer.
I haven't posted much recently because of our move. Had to get re-employed as a substitute in #Minnesota, and started working on our #garden. First things first, start #compost and clear the area! #beginner #learning
