One minor issue is that many institutions require you to use their institution's email to be eligible for their open-access publishing deals with journals. All my prior use of, now dead, emails on publications is because of this.

We estimate the divergence times between multiple pairs of allopatric & sympatric rubyspot damselflies. Including the discovery of a deep split (3.7ma) between Pacific and Atlantic smoky rubyspots.
Our sequencing includes an F1 hybrid at a zone of secondary contact at the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
