This picture, although a sunset at the end of the day, signifies the beginning of becoming regulated again.

Have this book in my hand right now and about to read it, in preparation for my Viva! I'm very excited about this book, it feels like gold.

Close up of part of a concave mirror with ornate floral metal work around the edge. Rainbowed Christmas lights are reflected in the mirror from outside through a window. The rainbow colours also reflect off the floral metal work around the mirror.

Rainbowed Christmas lights reflected in my concave mirror inherited from my Grandma. When I look into this glass I see treasured memories from years gone by. I am thankful for what I had but also for what I have.

Rainbow Christmas lights above an archway with an orange light in the centre. There is an orange light to the left and strings of white fairy lights zig zagging through the centre.

A Christmas message. I hope this helps people to understand.
I'd like to know what do you find difficult at this time of year and what's your coping strategy?

Sometimes you've just got to enjoy and that's what you're doing. X

Oh yes, yes, yes. Seeing my life through the lens of autism has helped me so much.

To the right, an auburn haired white middle aged woman smiles at the camera. To the left is a miceophone and pop stocking shield. The backgraound is blurred. The pboto looks a little like a drawing.

This is a good place the golden glow of one of the lights in the studio on my face illustrates the joy of singing. The trouble is I put a good vocal down in just a couple of takes, so now the singing is over for today.

Visceral, that's a word you don't see often and yes, I agree. I only learnt what that word meant in the last year while studying live performance art.

Thanks. It's funny but it's always the last pic I take that's the best. (Well, not always but mostly). It's like an instinct. You stop taking the pictures because you know you captured it.

Yes, the breathing must have something to do with it too. Also, I have just thought, the focus and everything else receeds into the background. Things de-escalate.

A close up shot of a mainly white calico cat, with splodges of ginger and black, snuggled up and sleeping on a soft grey blanket, her face is resting on her paw.

I'm learning a new song today written by a local music producer! I love repeating the music again and again in my headphones, counting along to it and learning the melody. 😊 Do you like doing that too? If my emotions are all over the place it helps to stabilise me. Daisy doesn't give a shit! πŸ˜‚

A night time shot of rainbowed splashes of Christmas lights reflected on a wet pavement, with an old fashioned lampost and an independent high street. Bands of rainbowed Christmas lights stretch across the top of the picture diminishing in size the further away they are.

They say the streets of London are paved with gold but in Shepton Mallet they are paved with rainbows. I can't explain how much joy these lights are giving me.

Popped into the Art Bank Cafe to pick up some lyrics for a new song! Jazz piano was being played, went outside for a little bit and my producer Kevin played me his new track and sang an idea of how he'd like the vocals to go. It's a great song! #autistic #autistatwork #sheptonmusic

I didn't understand Robin Nelson's ideas about Practice as Research and know-how, know-that and know-what until I had synthesised the information into my own diagram. Diagrams are great for helping to process your thoughts, to foster a deeper understanding and to communicate your understanding.
