Only had a quick play so far, but it’s looking very good. Nice work!

Warning: reset button.
Now it doesn’t need 3 keys to swap games when playing the Amiga in the pub.
Just some small Amiga tweaks to end Friday.
a young Kishimoto seen in a Japanese magazine dressed for street brawling
a group shot of the Double Dragon team (Kishimoto is in the center)
a signed magazine with a photo of Kishimoto wearing sunglasses
Kishimoto being interviewed on YouTube in more recent years.
Yoshihisa Kishimoto, creator of the legendary Kunio-kun and Double Dragon series, passed away on April 2. Initially reported on Twitter, the news has since been confirmed by Famitsu magazine. He was 64. www.famitsu.com/article/2026...
Whatever this dust like substance is all over the BBC Micro insides is not coming off very easily. I think this computer has had a hard life.
Don’t copy that floppy!
It's a long bank holiday in the UK, so all versions of Jurl and Mille are pay what you want (incl. nothing) over on tonsomo.itch.io #IndieDev #RetroDev #IndieDev #RetroGaming
The Puyo Puyo collection increases slowly but steadily
That’s an interesting thought. I might even have one of the Konix version of that somewhere in the garage.
Before and after of a Drity Amiga 500 with RSI inducing competition pro leaf switch joystick.
Last night I finished cleaning up and fixing the Amiga 500 I picked up from the @retrocollective.co.uk tabletop sale. I wish I had taken better before pictures to show just how dirty it was. Other than a very good clean it needed a gotek and a new keyboard membrane. Still needs a new joystick.
There's still work to do, there's no sound and no music and the presentation needs improving, but the entire game loop is there now so i'm calling this release 1 #RetroDev #IndieDev

Oh cool, congrats! I have purchased but won’t get to try it for a few days but looking forward to trying it.
I took one of the kids to the laser clay pigeon shooting thing and he was beating me by 20 points (at least) but then the scoreboard machine totally crashed. Clearly he’s been play NES Duck Hunt more than is allowed.
I am surprised they have not made a modern sequel yet. Would probably be a lot of fun multiplayer.
X-Wing was my favourite at the time, which I got around the same time as a Soundblaster 16. Probably spent far too many hours playing it.
A cartridge of Axelay by Konami on the Super Super Famicom.
Nice little Super Famicom delivery.
It was fun. Had a bit of confusion saving my progress but I think it’s definitely something to try and complete.
I forgot this game existed, I remember it being pretty good. I’m going to boot the old Amiga up later and give it a play.
Storage and organisation of games is always a problem. If this is the tidiest I can manage it might be time to have a clear out.
I just finished watching @zophar.bsky.social’s interview with @randallinden.bsky.social and it’s great! Zophars domain and bleem! had a big influence on a much younger emulator addicted me.
Time to try and figure out how this thing works. The only controller I have access to is a CD-i light gun that I’ve had to borrow from @pc98audi.bsky.social’s box of random games. Not sure it’s going to go well.
After a quick replacement of the Z80 to fix an issue with the CPC the game is running and is very good.
Who doesn’t enjoy looking at the box of dirty famicoms that sit by my desk?
My wife, that’s who.
Time for me to have a nice Soft drink and watch Dr Blanchard’s latest video.
Yeah, I love the Neo Geo Pocket! I wish analogue had gone with that style of controller for the analogue pocket. I can see why they didn’t but it would have been better than whatever turds they put behind the d-pad that make it impossible to play Gameboy Mr Do! Without getting carpal tunnel.
Garbage NeoGeo with amazing controllers
Yes, my MVS is just some consolized e-Waste but these controllers are possibly the greatest digital joypads made by humans.
Also bought Short Circuit on the CPC. Less of a bargain but I now at least own one original game for my 464. Going to try it later. Hopefully it’s not terrible.
I picked a few Famicom and Master System bargains today at @bristolvge.bsky.social that I’m looking forward to playing later.
I’m 99% sure I didn’t already have any of these apart from Enduro Racer but it was £3 so worth a risk.
I am providing some of my Retro collection for people to play at the North Bristol Retro Game Meet on the 1st April if you are local and interested in that sort of thing. The venue does have a nice selection of hot wings, if nothing else.
