The spikes occur on sharp edges because I'm only projecting to the nearest smoothed island. Points on boundaries basically "flicker" between one side or the other

That's the basic idea of what I'm doing here. The low poly already has good normals so I'm splitting on sharps, subdividing and smoothing the islands and using that to project a SDF-remeshed mesh to ๐Ÿ‘

Finding the "Boundary Edge Direction" based on face orientation (nodes in reply ๐Ÿ˜‡)

I thought I could just subtract both edge vertex positions but the order isn't guaranteed (especially with boolean meshes)
