Some will complain Blippo+ is "not a proper game," as interaction is largely limited to channel hopping and passively viewing (at least as far as I've played), but I love games that want to take you to new and interesting places. It's an art piece, an experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone
It came with some UK channels, but we found you could manually tune it, sifting through static until it resolved into a Spanish soap opera or Eastern European music channel. It was a random, weird, slightly obsessive fun, and I'd forgotten all about that time until playing Blippo+
I've played lots of retro games that try to capture the feeling of games from my teenage years, but Blippo+ isn't going for that exactly. It is, however, the first game I've played that reminded me of the feeling of *being* that age. My best friend's dad was one of the 1st to get a satellite dish...
