re 'maybe in summer' ... the 20% was from comparative year over year data in a news story. i remembered it because back in my student days (1989 or so) i was involved on a bike policy campaign group and at that time it was ~10% max.

i am 100% in favour of building better transit!! for many a blend of car coop, transit, and cycling works. It did for me for many years, even with a young kid. One thing I really miss is the EN, used to take the train with my son to see the grandparents.

also, active transport (walking/cylcling) for City of Victoria was I think just over 30% in 2021.

i think Victoria is now at 20% transport by bicycle
