No worries i think I can accept every opinion and comment. Talking from different perspectives is always refreshing when done respectfully

Oh! And thanks for your comment and opinion
I think it's the general feeling inside bsky
9/9 I will delete all the IA slop that didn't work in bluseky, and curate the rest of the platforms. I think it's a good idea to find out what works in each platform.
8/9 Special mention to gamedev memes it always had a moderate performance in all three platforms. Are you willing to accept IA slop only for memes? do you want to know the final results of my experiments? Follow me 😉
7/9 Finally, Twitter/X... it's a thrash bin, it seems not work with anything but all in a sudden a side idea (gamers and health, movie trailers) explodes.
6/9 On the other hand, Threads has been surprinsingly receptive to this kind of content, haven a great audience discussing the new posts. And the views skyrocketed (in comparason).
5/9 First of all, the test will still run in other platforms but I'm closing it for bsky. It was a blunder on my part not to realize that many people ran away from Twitter because of the AI issue and the terms of service. So bsky is aggersively reluctant to see IA slop.
4/9 The big problem arrives when wanting the boost for my posts that some kind of media gives you... my art skills are limited and the time to produce them are short. So, why not? Instead of being stalled again, let's try some IA slop...
3/9 First my content strategy shifted a bit, not only gamedevs are needed to feed my wishlists. Gamers should be the core of my audiende. I decided to create a mix of gaming news, discussions and curiosities/side news. Along with the gamedev content.
2/9 Additionally, my dev time during this weeks has been reduced due to my gym dedication due to my medical condition. So, It was time to make something to get more eyeballs in my content.
1/9 Background: Part of my project is to be profitable and after a couple of years the community figures and wishlist numbers werent enough to validate the project. (Btw, wishlist appreciated 😉 )
DAY 239: More than a day, it's been a hectic week I've been running a marketing test on my three microblogging platforms. Gaming news, IA slop and (sometimes) angry people... sit back and relax because I'm spilling out all the results right here 🧵

My dinosaur driving game now has a core combat feature that was born from a physics glitch. We called it 'The Accidental Apex Jump'. 🦖🚗💨

As an indie dev, the recent news about Steam's delayed response to harassment campaigns and review bombing is... concerning.
This story on r/gamedev is a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities indie developers face. Nine months of silence from Steam after a massive review bomb?

1/5: The idea: Monetize your passion by creating exclusive gaming experiences. Think curated tournaments, VIP servers, or even coaching sessions for specific games. The key is offering value beyond just playing.
Only 4 unplayed games... Thats a great strategy! I try not to overspend on games because I know my backlog es unmanageable since I discovered humble bundle. So I only buy day-1 in highly anticipated games. Also jumping into books and tv. None to be said everything steals time to develop my game 😥
Touchè! My Pitt of hours is rocket league. At least I managed to stop playing for a month or so. But now I'm investing time on the gym so my game progress is stalled 😿
Wait, THE END OF OAK STREET is about dinosaurs? Let me tell you, the parking situation is getting WILD. 🚗💨 Prepare for some serious dino-induced traffic jams. 😉

I was thinking out loud to see what the scene thinks, but there are hectic times for the gaming industry nowadays
4/ Anyone else feeling this? What's your escape plan? Or are you holding strong? Let's commiserate (or strategize)!
3/ Starting to think about what else is out there. Data science? Web dev? Even plumbing sounds appealing right now (at least the pipes don't ask for microtransactions or loot boxes).
2/ Been in the trenches for 5 years. Seen good times, seen bad. But lately... the bad feels more systemic. Are we building games or just burning ourselves out?
1/ The dream: Making amazing games.
The reality: Crunch, layoffs, endless feature creep, and as indiedev the constant pressure to be profitable and eat three times a day. It's tough out there.
Seeing the r/gamedev discussions about burnout & industry shifts. Honestly, it's got me dusting off that old resume... #gamedev #careerchange

When the news is all 'Houston, we have a problem'...
...but my indie game dev brain is thinking, 'What kind of boss fight would THIS asteroid make?' 🤔 We're taking the cosmic panic and channeling it into epic chases. Stay tuned! ðŸŒ

Legislators are finally coming for corporate accountability in kid-safe gaming. Are we looking at the end of 'ignore at your own risk' moderation? It’s not just about chat filters anymore; it’s about architectural liability.
