In this paper, we explore whether grandparents 👵🏻 might be cognitively disadvantaged 🧠 through their work-family life histories.
Key takeaways from the LSAHP W2 Mortality data:
✨ Family lies at the heart of older Filipinos’ remaining
years of life BUT w/ gender differences as to w/c family members
✨ Heavy reliance on informal sources of funding for private
inpatient health services during the final period of life
