My grandfather’s family fled from the Czech republic to Germany after WW2 as they were not welcome anymore. We still have the family name
One of my favourite animals 😍

I have read it but I’m not sure I “understood” it, which I feel is probably the point of this book 😂

🦓 Sehr ungünstig. Unterstützt mich auf www.steady.de/joscha und bekommt Bonus-Panels zu den Cartoons! Danke! :)
I’m amazed how much this little guy trusts me already 🥹

Aaaaaah that sounds amazing!
My grandfather on a small fishing boat
My grandfather, my mom and my brother as a baby
My grandfather holding my father as a baby
My grandfather as a young adult in hospital after breaking his leg
My brother asked for some pictures of our grandpa and it made me feel very nostalgic. He was a jolly fellow and a real family man, and a huge reader of books
WOW.
@rebeccasolnit.bsky.social wrote a PHENOMENAL essay that should be REQUIRED reading for -well, everyone- but particularly all those who find themselves BAFFLED by the fact that NOBODY seemed to know what powerful men were up to till the stories broke wide.

Das ist lieb von dir! Ich freue mich dass jemand sie auch so schätzt wie meine Mutter und ich 😉
Ich darf wegen meiner zöliakie keine mehr essen und sie fehlt mir 🥹
Beste gefrierkühlpizza!
I will let you know ☺️ currently we are going through all the Bond movies in reverse order, so we end up trash talking a lot of it but I think I will schedule Alien next on our list of classics to watch
FEED MEEEEE! 🌺
Both the menu and Little Shop of Horrors are awesome! I still have Not Seen Aliens I think I have to do it soon
Yes she is so relatable I really loved her. Also that she is aware that she might not be beautiful and it doesn’t matter and no male character tells her otherwise and she still is the hero of the story 👌
Selfie of a girl with a horse
Pregnant horse eating hay
She’s close to poppin’! I’m so excited to meet her foal I need it to be here sooooon
Oh nooo so disappointed. Will delete my repost 😔

This year's #kakapo breeding season has been the biggest on record:
- 256 eggs (252 in 2019)
- 148 fertile eggs (116 in 2019)
- 105 eggs hatched (86 in 2019).
It'll be 2+ months until we know how many chicks will fledge (73 in 2019). There are currently 95 alive. #conservation #kakapo2026 #birds
Oh man thank you so much! I knew I knew the young guy from somewhere but I never would have figured out it is Benicio Del Torro!
Ah then it’s not for you 😬 there is a lot of it at the end
I just had a mite infestation of an old carpet and had to throw it away as an emergency. I was itchy all day. And then I read the book 😬 I guess I like to torture myself psychologically
Have you ever seen videos of vets getting botflies out of squirrels? That’s about the level of disgust to be ready for in my opinion. But this author is so good at description that if you are really phobic it’s hard
If you like nature and horror you will love it ☺️
