This is good! I like this.

This week in 1971: for the first of three weeks, and never again afterwards, all four Beatles had solo hits in the UK top 40 at the same time:
John with Power to the People (#10), Paul with Another Day (#11), George with My Sweet Lord (#25), and Ringo (new at #29) with It Don't Come Easy.
@colsonwhitehead.com making my day, putting it better than just about anybody so far. Thank god for the writers, the artists, the jokesters, the weirdos like us. Humanity sucks! Let's do the work, it's the only thing worth doing!

Been wanting to write this for a minute. We're drowning in performative masculinity and fake tough guys, but Harrison Ford is showing remarkable strength and heart in redefining how one rages at the dying of the light in Shrinking.

It means so much to us that you've donated almost $7500 to Joe and we're 35% there. There's plenty of time to donate and we're going to make sure he gets all the help he needs.
Happy Birthday! Have π, you deserve it!
Happy ThinkGeek Remembrance Day to all who celebrate.
An unthinkable situation compounded by a bureaucratic nightmare.
My thoughts are with Mike and his family.
"Clue" is the closest you can ever get to making a Muppet movie with no Muppets.
One of the greatest sound effects in videogames is when you walk through the plastic flaps in Marathon
Ditch. Ditch. Ditch.
'Maybe I'll get in to baseball this year?', she says, realizing the Pirates are playing on NBC today, only to never watch another game and completely forget about baseball in roughly a month.
Look, human anatomy is very hard
ποΈ A lot of effort went into last weekβs tifo, we partnered with schools around Columbus to give students a chance to create with us. Meet Juan, the artist behind it all! His passion for giving kids a creative outlet led to this colorful, energetic, and inspiring piece!
I'm really enjoying it. I'm a fan of Bungie's style (HALO, Destiny), so that part of the gameplay clicked right away. The scavenging for loot and trying to get out before anyone kills me is trickier, but it feels so good when you do it. That's been the appeal for me, anyway.
I've been playing Marathon in my very limited free time and I am obsessed. It's my first extraction shooter, and I don't know where it ranks within the genre, but I am hooked.
Do I have any mutuals who play? Do I even have mutuals? How do we do this in the year twenty twenty-six?
You could say that Rock n Roll was born 111 years ago today in Arkansas, but probably not where you'd think. Before there was a Chuck Berry or Little Richard, there was those who wanted to be like her.

As someone who went on the Internet for the first time in the early 90βs, I fucking loved the Internet. It has given so many things in life, and afforded me so many incredible experiences.
And to see it, and technology in general where they are today is kinda soul crushing.
Remembering the USMNT win v Iran in 2022. Several Iranian players were devastated, weeping on the pitch. More than one of our guys sat there and held them while they cried. It went beyond graciousness in victory; it was pure human empathy. That's how the beautiful game is supposed to be, YET NOW
Since everyone is talking about this, a few things.
It's not *reallllly* about "average Americans" because we all live on weird content islands now. The people watching Tracker and a Yellowstone spinoff, aren't the ones watching Dunk & Egg, aren't the ones watching... I dunno, IShowSpeed.
Death stop, no question. Though the trash can is a nice touch.
It's obviously the ditch. I mean, a mailbox *and* a liquor store? That's a lively spot by Cbus standards.
As this observation gains attention, I'll add that I'm not including those fine folks at #TIFOSWEAT (whoever they may be) and the many other volunteers involved. I'd wager it was the planning/direction that led to an underwhelming production.
Oh yeah, that was another weird choice. Was so strange all around.
Thinking back on last night's #Crew96 home opener... why did they do away with the old match ignitor setup? It was silly, of course, as pre-match activations are, but its replacement is so much worse. The whole pre-show was a step down, I don't get it.
