Good question. She hasn't been deeply researched unfortunately. Her obituary stated with divorce "came also an end to her direct personal involvement with aviation and the affairs of Blackburn Aircraft" but not clear on the financial impact

UK use is reclaiming what might be intended as an insult and reframing it /owning it with pride. It’s a historical definition which is still used here to distinguish different approaches within suffrage movement of e C20th. Much the same as how term queer has been been reframed from insult to owned.

Definitely not. In UK suffragette is used with pride for those who took militant action and were often imprisoned and worse for their actions. Suffragists were non militant. Huge difference

My latest wiki project has been completing English wiki page for all 72 Eiffel Women. Took a while! Now need to make sure that exisiting pages are of a decent quality, then add/link all the other women they connect with & ensure their places of education get pages in English too. Growing like Topsy!
