23 April 1945 | The US Army liberated the Flossenbürg concentration camp, where they found 1,500 critically ill prisoners. Between May 1938 & April 1945, 100,000 people (84k men & 16k women) from over 30 countries were imprisoned there. Over 30,000 perished.

He arrived at #Auschwitz on 3 March 1943 and was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.
