A swan's arse in the air

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the river.

If you're a small indie game dev, don't try to be too professional. Professionalism only matters when you've hit the mainstream.

First, you need to appeal to people who mainly play indie games. These people like devs to be human and interesting.

You can attract people for you, not just your game.

Old doodles

I know I've posted these old doodles before, but I'm thinking about reusing them for a future adventure game.

Could be fun to bring them back in a new way. 😄

That's my take, too. They have nobody to talk to, so when they find someone willing to listen, they want to use the opportunity fully.

A chunk of blue-grey fluff that is actually a very soft kitten sitting on a library desk. They are doing a very serious Kitten Face and have very intent yellow-gold eyes, and they would be so scary and fierce if they were more than six inches tall and not so hugely adorable when they tried to be judgey.

The news all sucks today.

Kitty-Boo was hunting a bug today. I've never seen one like this before - it looked cool with that dark blue metallic colour. I looked it up and it's a black oil beetle, and I loved it until I found out that it parasitizes solitary bees 😞 Sometimes it's better not to know.

A photo of a small calico cat, which I was taking to get a good view of the possibly clipped ear to maybe show our vet. It's more like the tip being cut off in a straight line, which I'm not sure is a way vets do it. In this picture, the cat's body is facing the camera, while her head is turned to look away from the camera. Her front paws are visible here, and they are super adorable.

The very small and very cute calico, who now comes every day for food, has one ear that seems it might be clipped (which would mean she was spayed). What do you think? Is it something that could happen naturally? Or is she safe from all the hormone-driven toms?
