#Superman was great. That’s all I’ll say.

#JurassicWorldRebirth

In terms of tone and atmosphere, it’s the closest we’ve gotten to the original trilogy. As far as characters, storytelling, plot, action, etc. or just even feeling like the actual dinosaurs are a threat… Crickets.

I would love to sit here and sing the praises of #28YearsLater, but unfortunately that’s just not the case with this movie. I found it to be very disappointing. It felt like a number of unrealized ideas depending on it’s sometimes overblown aesthetic #filmsky

#Fridaythe13th turns 45 this year. Is there any better evening to watch it then Friday the 13th in the middle of June to celebrate it’s 45th anniversary? Along with #TexasChainsawMassacre and #Halloween it further rejuvenated the slasher film at the third of the 80s #filmsky

Is the live action adaptation of #HowToTrainYourDragon necessary? No. Are the creative minds behind it aware that it is simply a cash grab for Universal? Absolutely. Knowing this, do they at least make a proper effort to deliver a fun movie that harbors the spirit of this IP? YUP!

Ads for #Materialists have definitely put it out to be a romcom. It goes far beyond that. A look at modern romance and dating, centered around the themes of status and expectation, its a sophomore effort from Celine Song that is aesthetically strong, but a bit under developed character wise #filmsky

I don’t think #WesAnderson has ever made a bad movie. There’s just those I love more than others. #ThePhoenicianScheme may not be among us best, but it’s still embodies the spirit of an entertaining West Anderson movie.

Went to see #DOGMA on the big screen tonight. The kid scanning everyone’s ticket decided to make it a point to make smug comments at everyone going to see the movie that he thinks Kevin Smith is a hack. Dude, keep that to yourself. No one asked your opinion. Do that shit on Letterboxd #filmsky

#BallerinaMovie checks all the boxes of an exciting #JohnWick movie, but I happened to notice that it messes with the continuity of the franchise a little bit. Nonetheless, #AnaDeArmas is solid in this role #filmsky

#KarateKidLegends is throwing a lot of ideas into a rushed narrative. It feels like an ambitious legacy sequel that only makes it halfway to what it’s trying to achieve. #filmsky

#GoldenEye turns 30. This was such a great revamp for #JamesBond

It ushered in a slick, ruthless, and often brutal era for 007 in the 90s. Having been released six years since the prior film in the franchise, it maintains the record for the longest gap between movies.

In case you’re wondering, before going to see #MissionImpossibleTheFinalReckoning it would be absolutely beneficial to have seen the first and third movies in the franchise…

#LiloandStitch

While it does take a few liberties from the animated source material, it’s sweet and simple and adorable. It knows its audience and it makes for a good time.

A ★★★ review of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (2025) much like it’s predecessor, it’s not the strongest installment in the franchise. I particularly found the villain to be a lot less compelling. What’s his motivation? What drives him to do what he does...

#MissionImpossibleTheFinalReckoning certainly reminded me why this franchise has entertained me for 30 years, but it feels like it had a very ambitious idea and never knew how to cross the finish line. It’s two great action sequences and a number of unanswered questions with a thinly written villain

A ★★★★ review of Lilo & Stitch (2002) Mischievous, adorable and heartfelt. This really represents a certain peak for Disney’s 2-D animation legacy. A wonderful, joyful film. I want to adopt Stitch.

Mischievous, adorable, and ultimately heartfelt. #LiloandStitch represents a certain peak for Disney’s 2-D animation legacy. I completely understand why this film is so popular.

Conceptually, engaging, visually terrifying, ultimately emotional. #BringHerBack is a stunning genre bending follow up to #TalkToMe from directing duo Danny and Michael Phillipou. In theaters May 30.

Imagine The Warriors meets Die Hard. Night Call is a solid thriller set within the period of one evening that only further showcases the elevation of the Belgian industry has seen since the 2010s.

Y’all need a pilot? #FlightRisk is simple, forgettable, has some pretty bad CGI, and lacks a lot of logic, specifically around Mark Wahlberg’s character playing a hitman. If you look closely enough, you’ll notice the stubble where he shaved his hair off.

Should I go and watch every movie that has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and then do review videos on each of them? You have the power to determine this potentially miserable experience for me 😆

1999’s END OF DAYS is what I like to call the forgotten Arnold horror movie. Originally intended for director Sam Raimi, then offered to Guillermo Del Toro, and originally intended to star Tom Cruise. It’s not Arnold‘s glory days, but it sure is a fun one.
