Just reflecting on a great week at the IAL-IPA joint meeting in Aix-les-Bains. Lots of PalaeOpen work through a poster, a talk and a full-day workshop as well. And a great social to round up proceedings!

From half May I will be joining RHUL - I am really looking forward to this bext phase of my career!

The results show that results stabilise above ca 25 ug of material, which smaller samples showing increasingly lower d18O values. This result applies to both the chironomid material and the standard that was tested

Lots of other great chapters in there too!

Marking essays will never be the favourite part of my job, but it does become a whole heap more pleasant when the final paper of the bunch is a well-written insightful piece where I even learned a few new things :)

Looking forward to starting my 1st year module on Environmental Science today. A general introduction through the concept of Planetary Boundaries (and yes I know the version below is now outdated :))
