Went to the SPCA to adopt a dog. Chose the little white one that ran expectantly to the fence wagging her tail. Discovered she had a sister cowering in the kennel. This was the day we brought them home. We had one for 10 yrs and the other for 12 yrs. They are now waiting on the rainbow bridge.

When will I learn to keep my cellphone handy when working on my computer🙄. After filling in a lengthy form or questionnaire I will inevitably be sent either an OTP, verification code, activation code or similar, which then involves an urgent hunt for my cellphone before the code time runs out😛

I work with 2nd hand books and flip through donated ones looking for bookworm. We mostly chuck out any eaten books, but have saved some valuable ones by using boracide. You can also put the books in a microwave to kill the bookworm but have to know what you are doing with heat and timing.
