A quite grumpy looking toad, brown in color with lighter colored sides, covered in dark brown splotches! Their back is covered in lots of warty bumps, and they have very large parotoid glands! They appear to be contemplating a nearby concrete step!
Our friend the Rocky Mountain Toad lives in many areas of the Western United States and northern Mexico! They are a very common subspecies of the Woodhouse's Toad and are sometimes called the Western Woodhouse's Toad! (photo by John Sullivan)
