Folks always wanna pit the Jewish community and Black community against each other.

Didn’t even have a chance to block him. I liked a post that gently and politely disagreed with part of something he said and he blocked them and me 🤷🏻♀️ what a toddler

I’m never missing any more of your posts just because the semester got busy :)
Black and white photo of a nurse in a 19th-century uniform, including a cap and apron with medical tools attached. She gazes confidently forward.
Before public health nursing had a name, one Jewish woman helped define it... and insisted it include racial justice.
Lillian Wald didn’t just treat patients. She coined the term “public health nurse” and reimagined care in a divided America, where dignity too often depended on who you were.

Black and white portrait of a confident boxer with slicked-back hair, wearing gloves, and posing in a fighting stance, looking intensely at the camera.
Continuing with the boxing theme.

Thank YOU for the great stories. This reminded me to turn on notification for your posts.
I can’t believe my eyes. This long article—which I first thought would be just another “Why are so many young people dying of cancer? Huh/no clue” ones—covers not only Buffy nerddom, but also deep “inside baseball” COVID facts. I’ll briefly hope yet again that this might represent a turning point.
Wait there’s a Buffy reboot??

Seriously!!
In the year of our Lord 2026, it’s hard to fathom people don’t understand. Some are comparing Slavery to the Holocaust. There’s no oppression Olympics, when a conversation like this is introduced. Its purpose is strictly meant to divide the communities.
I forgot how pretty it was
Perfect description of Bluesky

Black and white portrait of an adult and a child bundled in warm winter coats and hats, sitting outdoors against a tree. The adult on the left wears a patterned cloche hat and a fur-trimmed coat, holding a small bag. The child on the right is dressed in a fur hat and coat, looking towards the camera with a smile. Gertrude Elion, at age three-and-a-half, with her mother. https://achievement.org/achiever/gertrude-elion/
Gertrude Elion was born in 1918 in New York City to Jewish immigrant parents from Lithuania and Poland. When her grandfather died of cancer, she was 15. She decided then that she would spend her life fighting disease through chemistry. She never moved off that path.
