Rei: Hawks, please, join us. Touya smiles at Hawks, looking at him above his shoulder, teasing. Touya: Yeah, N°2, join us~ Hawks is startled, he is shy and anxious, he didn't thought he would have to spend some time with Rei as well. He comes inside the room anyway and complains to Dabi, gesturing a strangulation. Rei in the back is getting to the sink to turn the kettle on. Hawks: Seriously? I thought you were supposed to be the one talking to her... Dabi is teasing hard, nonchalant: Aw, c'mon, pretty bird, don't be shy!

Rei heard that and suddenly turns around, very interested. Rei: Eh? "pretty bird"? The couple is suddenly feeling embarrassed and cornered. A silent settles while Rei is waiting for an explaination. Rei: My, now I need to hear everything~ Touya: I don't think it's necessary... Rei: Easy now, Touya, indulge your old mother's curiosity. Hawks: You did this to yourself, staples... Touya: Don't you dare leaving me alone in this, you overgrown pigeon!

Touya: But... Rei is surprise. Touya keeps going, shy: ... you ware not a bad one either... You... You did your best... Rei is very surprise and feel relief about it. Hawks is smiling, touched.

Dabi is standing here, fully covered with black clothe, hoods over his head, sunglasses and a demonic face mask. Just oustide the room, Rei notices Hawks in front of the open door. Hawks shys away when he notices he was spotted by her. Rei is thinking: Huh? Hawks?

Rei is suspicious: Who... Who are you? Dabi become agitated, hesitate, then sigh dramatically before getting something out of his pocket: a tea bag. He puts it on the desk, near Rei who's surprise and curious about it.

She tooks the tea bag and read it's ginger-hibbicus tea. She suddenly realize who he is and holds the bag clothe to her while looking at him, hopeful and shaking. Dabi is getting rid of his gloves, hoods, sunglasses and facemask to reveal himself.

Rei is crying, emotional to see him alive. She thinks: Even if you have changed so much... You're taller... Your voice is different... I know you... My heart knows you.

Rei was drinking her tea with great relief while Touya is looking at her with sparkles in his eyes, wiggling around and unable to stand still. Touya: Are you feeling better? Rei: I do, thank you. Touya: That's my duty as a hero! Rei was thinking, a bit distressed: He's only 6 but... He's the only one who notices... His dad doesn't care if it's not about getting the heir he wants.

Rei noticed the little burned and ban-aids on Touya's body and get worried. Rei: Are you hurt? Touya: I'm fine. Rei: Was... was it your father? Touya: Not this time. As dad said, I have a weak body so my fire is useless. But I'll show him, you'll see! As soon as he realizes I'm enough, he will leave you alone. Rei was thinking and hesitated to touch him: He's always trying to help me... Be will he be ok with me? Maybe I could... She finaly gently grab his face between her hands. Touya flinched, instinctively worried and anxious that he might be hit, since he wasn't used to being touched in that way.

Rei was genlty covering him with her ice. Touya looked at her, amazed and feeling all fuzzy inside. He smiled, blushed and enjoyed the feeling of her ice, her sweetness and her affection. It was the first and he loved it. Rei: Does it still hurt? Touya: Not anymore! Your ice feel nice, eheh! Rei was relieved and touched that Touya accepted her. She realized how sweet of a child he was.

Back in present time, Rei snaps out of her thought when she realize someone enters the room. She turns her head to him, puzzled.

We can see Rei in her hospital room, looking through the window, nto really watching the sunset because she's lost in thought.

She has a flash back about when Touya was 6 and Natsuo was a few months old. Natsuo was sleeping during the afternoon, Rei is watching over him and was reading a book. Touya, covered in band-aids and little bruns, handed her a sealed bag, looking worried and shy. Rei: Touya? Do you... need something? Touya: I-uhm... I got some tea, for you... Rei: Tea? Touya huddled up: Sorry, I had to take a bit of money for the Grocery... Please don't tell dad... Rei: I won't. But why did you do that so suddenly? We've got plenty of it already. Touya: Not this one. It's the one you take when your belly hurt every month. I wanted to make you some because you're hurt today, but I couldn't find any in the cabinet...

Touya hesitated and looked away, worried he'd done something silly. Touya: So... uhm... Rei: so you got some... For me... Touya was surprise she wasn't angry and explained himself. Touya: Well, of course... When you keep holding your belly and just sit and read all day, it's when you're hurting. That's mean you need your ginger-hibicus tea. I'm sorry, don't be upset because of me... Rei: What? I'm not upset. Touya: But you're crying... Rei was surprise because she didn't realized she was crying so much she was touched by Touya's attention. She wiped away her tears and lied so he wouldn't feel guilty. Rei: No... No, don't worry, It's not because of you. I'm crying because my belly hurt. Sorry about that.

Touya gasped, very worried and rushed out the room : I'm gonna brew some for you right now!!! Rei tried to reach for him but he was already too far away: W-wait! Touya! She was holding her belly: Ah... He's gona already... Transition: we can see a tea pot and two japanese tea cup full of warm tea.

* Artemis II

2-3 years old Shôto is greeting his big brother Touya who just came home from school. He is very proud and Touya is puzzled. Shôto: Touya-nii! I did it today! Touya is puzzled. He put down is school bag and take off his shoes. Touya: What did you do? Shôto: I did the same as you! Touya: Uh, what? Like, what? You still doesn't have your quirk yet... Shôto: I've protected mom when dad was mad! Touya is shocked and very worried about it.

Touya is grabbing Shôto's shoulder's, almost shouting so much he is worried about him and their mom. Touya: Are you and mom okay? Did he hurt oen or both of you? Shôto is unfazed, a little surprised to see him like this. He proudly and calmly says: Kicking a bit, but I did as well! I did just like you! He was angry at mom again, and hit her. And you were at school but I was there! And I ran into the room and I stand in front of him just like you do! And he didn't want to drop it so I kicked him too! (There is a portrayal of the events recounted by Shôto with Endeavor biting up Rei and Shôto standing between his parent, shouting at his father)

Touya laugh is ass of then proudly grabs Shôto's shoulder, croutching to be at his eye level. Touya: I guess he didn't see that coming! Shôto: Nope. And even if he kicked me he stopped hitting mom. Touya: He was definitly intimidated! Good job, little worm! Shôto stares at him, unamused: I'm not a worm. I'm a kid. And one day, I'll be a hero! Touya grabs his bag and walk pass him, ruffling his hair and teasing him a bit. Touya: Alright, hero-worm, nice job. Shôto is protesting, trying to push away his hand: I'm not a worm!

Touya walks down the corridor and look at Shôto above his shoulder, waving at him. Touya: okay then. I count on you to look after mom when I'm not there. Shôto is both flattered and honored that his older brother trusts him so much with such an important task. He is filled with pride, motivation, and self-confidence. Shôto: You can count on me!
