Cool, everything is working now! Thank you so much. <3

Currently debugging our cross-posting bridge. Can anyone on the Atmosphere hear us?
@snarfed.org still doesn't seem to be bridging statuses, I'm not totally sure what the problem is π€
Would disconnecting and reconnecting the bridge be worth trying?
Testing now...
Small bit of #Gamedev progress: I've got a #Godot testing environment set up on my Steam Deck! This ought to be a good way to test performance and do optimization work later on.
I love my Steam Deck, and just want to make games work well with it.
I'm all upgraded now, I think it should be good!
Ooh, good to know. I'll look into upgrading, I had no idea about this!
Sorry for making life harder. ππ
Also: is the Profile URL supposed to update once you've changed your handle domain? Wasn't sure whether that was a factor...
Sorry for the bombardment. π

Hmm, doesn't look like posts are flowing through yet, despite a few tests.
Any ideas on things I can try from my end?
Figured out how to do it manually in the docs. This is so cool!
I'm able to sign in with Akkoma via the Mastodon API, but don't have access to a settings page. π€
That's awesome!
It looks like I can log in, but can't access the settings page. Akkoma uses Mastodon API for auth, I'm not sure if the breakage is in the dashboard, or in our auth.
Actually, this is for the Akkoma account! PeerTube has social fields for the server, and recently added a field for Bluesky. They show up on the instance about page.
I figured, rather than create two accounts, why not bridge one?
Hey @quillmatiq.com and @snarfed.org, got a Bridgy Fed related question for you.
Is there a way to replace a bridged account's address with a native domain name?
I thought it might be neat to use spectra.video for this: bsky.app/profile/spec...
It's been figured out!
Turns out, I needed to add Pi to my pivot rotation. I would have never thought of that!
The thing is, the modding community for Fallout 4 and Starfield are HUGE. FO4 has an entire fan-made game set in London, as well as campaigns where you bring back the Enclave or alter the environment so much that it's a totally different story.
Starfield is kind of weird. It represents part of Bethesda's legacy where the mechanics and bones of the game are really good, but the main story is absolute dogshit.
It's one of those things where the modding community is doing way more interesting work. Fallout 4 comes to mind.
Time to install Starfield and see if I still feel cynical about it.
If there's any #Godot developers out there making 3D games, I could kind of use some help / advice on how to fix this weird issue I'm having.
Camera is basically attached to a SpringArm and mounted on a pivot, the pivot rotation is what's used for camera rotation.
As part of the work on Fediverse sustainability announced earlier this year, the Social Web Foundation is running our first Fediverse Sustainability Survey . We're seeking operators, moderators and administrators of Fediverse sites, from the smallest to the largest, to fill out the anonymous [β¦]
It's kind of depressing, going into Computer Science, when I know how dogshit the tech industry is.
But, I love computers. I love writing code. I love making computers do stuff.
I'm pursuing software engineering in spite the bullshit, but I'd be lying if I said I felt certain about the future.
Star Citizen is further along than anyone realizes.
For me, the biggest negatives are the engagement bait. This includes notifications about other notifications, excessive metrics about how your post is doing or who viewed you, and an exhausting timeline of corporate propaganda.
The only reason to use LinkedIn is the CV and job postings.
I'm building a @surf.social feed featuring all things SCP Foundation! Any recommendations for sources to include?

Doing the same thing. My inbox is flooded with stuff.
New York Times headline: "My Husband Can't Get a Job. Should I Divorce Him?" Subheading: "Plus, whether to use AI to get ahead at work...if you think the technology is evil."
Absolutely unhinged question, NYT.
Well, this isn't exactly a huge surprise. While I understand why OnlyOffice is mad, apparently they're not very good at working with the community, so a fork makes sense.
Yay, congratulations!

Today we're also introducing surf.social to let anyone surf the whole social web including over 130K feeds that bring together people, podcasts, YouTube channels, newsletters, blogs and images for whatever you're into.
