Her next words came out with the artificial intonation of a poorly practiced script. “Due to the circumstances he was found in, it’s highly unlikely that his injuries have been caused accidentally,” she said—irritatingly roundabout. “He was hanged from a tree in Avidya Forest.” …Well. That made no sense.
